Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Ed Ramsey and I have been a PT for 16+ years and a professional consultant for over 5 years. I have been married for over 2 years and pictured is my wife, Julianne and son, Nicholas (11 months old). Whether you have seen me present at any of the National Conferences, been one of my students at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions or been involved in any of my many internet chats or bulletin board posts-welcome. The resources at my site are from some of my previous presentation or co-presentations with Diane McCutcheon BMC and are free to view. They are an introduction to some of the many items I speak or consult on and I hope you will be able to use them as a springboard to move your career or business forward. From my position as a consultant and capacity on several volunteer positions I have had the opportunity to see many practices and quite a few start-ups. I see many mistakes made over and over and have worked to reduce some of those errors by my lectures, posts, webinars and book (in process co-written with Diane McCutcheon). When I opened my first clinic 11 years ago, the amount of resources available to start up a new practice was minimal. Now there is so much more material available now-a-days, it can be overwhelming to even a seasoned owner so my role as a consultant is to personalize that information and make it understandable and real to you, the Physical Therapy practice owner. I typically use data from my own company or National norms to show realistic results. I find providing information is not enough, to be truly grasped it needs to be applied in your individual setting to make it stick. My purpose in consulting is to help others learn from my mistakes to allow their businesses to be stronger and more profitable. I am available for consultations by appointment at ed@RamseyRehab.com Have a tremendous day! Respectfully,
