Ramsey Rehab continues its Community Educational Seminars with its First Annual Coaches Clinic.

RAMSEY REHAB EXPANDS ITS PRESENCE IN NORTH CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS AS THE LEADER IN SPORTS MEDICINE PHYSICAL THERAPY AND PATIENT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS.

Ramsey Rehab, the leader of Sports Medicine Physical Therapy in North Central Massachusetts, celebrates National Physical Therapy Month in October by offering a FREE clinic to local youth and high school coaches. The inaugural Coaches Clinic is designed to educate area coaches, help reduce the risk of injury and improve on existing training methods. The Leominster Office of Ramsey Rehab, will host the event on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 8am – 1pm. Presenters will include Ramsey Rehab staff, community Professionals and local Physicians. Topics discussed will include:

• General First Aid and How to Manage your first aid kit.
• Concussion management.
• Proper Nutrition for the student athlete.
• Sports Psychology for the student athlete.
• Teach Your Athletes about Proper Posture.
• Dynamic Pre-Game warm up programs.
• Basic Strength Training for adolescents at home.
• CPR training, recertification and first aid certification will also be available at a discounted group rates on future dates.
